Brooke and Eli's Wedding Weekend

This particular weekend was amazing. There was so much fun to be had. The highlights were Brooke's wedding and going to go see the house Adam's father had just completed.

Since I gave birth to Addison I have felt like sort of a fuddy-dud (if that is actually a word). Going to the wedding was a step in the right direction to bringing out the true me. Danceing the night away with Adam and laughing at how energetic and flirty Addison already is was just what I needed.

Joe (Adam's father) helps manage the building of some amazing houses in Raleigh. They go for a couple million dollars, so when one is finished it is always a fun trip to go out and walk through them. The picture of all of us in the shower was taken in one of the smallest showers in the house! Too much for my tastes, and budget, but what a fun day!

Stokes Stomp

I have been so busy the past couple months. With shows and school, not to mention all the fun things that have been going on, I have a lot of catching up to do as usual. I want to start with the first show that I had this season. The Stokes Stomp is an arts a craft festival that I have been going to since I was small. I know I may be a little bias, but I think it truly is one of the best small festivals in the area. They have art, crafts, bluegrass, a parade, a worship service on Sunday, a tent for the little ones to do crafts, puppet shows, guitar lesson, and the list goes on and on. If there was a slow moment there was so much going on around me that I didn't get any of the projects I brought finished. Believe me I didn't mind. If you haven't been to this show, I highly recommend it. It is usually the second week in September every year and there is no charge. It is held in Danbury, NC which is a neat little place on it's own. Mark it on your calenders!

Back on Track

It is so wonderful to finally be home! I love visiting and vacationing, but I think I am a bit of a homebody. I can have all my crafting supplies in order, get orders out easily, play with Addison and read the usual books, sleep in my own bed, wake up early to have breakfast with just my husband (or stay up late packaging items with him)...... how nice :) I am sure in about a month or so, I will be ready to go visiting again, but for now it is nice to just be home.

Beach Trip

We finally got to go on a vacation with just the three of us. It was a blast! Building sand volcanoes, looking for shells with the babe, dodging waves, shopping, eating lots of junk food, napping, and catching up on some late night beading. How wonderful.

BEN FOLDS AND JOHN MAYER!

Last night I finally got to enjoy my birthday present from Adam. He got me tickets to go see Ben Folds and John Mayer. Ben Folds is my favorite artist and John Mayer is not so bad himself :) We definatly need to get out more often because it was the first time that I have felt my age in a long time. Afterall I am only 21. I need to enjoy my youth! If anyone gets a chance to go see this concert, it is well worth getting a babysitter for!
