A Great Weekend

Last weekend was a great weekend for two reasons. The Crafter's Flea Market in Raleigh, and Mitch and Sarah got hitched! It was so nice to get to spend time with my dear friend Becky at the wedding. It was also nice to see Amy Keith at the Crafter's Flea Market. This is such a talented gal. I have bought three of her stained glass pieces.... I want them all :) I am in love with her ladybugs, check her etsy shop out!

It was very nice to get some time alone with my husband last weekend too.... he is such a great guy. I am so lucky to have a husband that will put up with my crazy ideas and frequent stops on the highway to take pictures.

New Found Love: Rings

I have recently fallen in love with rings! I love making them, wearings them, and selling them. Rings are great because you can wear a huge, multicolored piece and it will still not be overpowering. They are also great if you want to add a little color to your outfit, but don't like the way bracelets feel on your arms (especially when you are working on something crafty!). I have listed a lot of different styles and shapes in my shop, check it out! www.redazaleas.etsy.com

Ceramics Coming to red azaleas

For those of you who don't know, I am a ceramics student at Western Carolina University. This summer I am doing an independant study on cups and bowls. I will be selling my creations in the shop. Most of my jewelry items will be moved to the Dan River Art Market (in Danbury, NC), with a few items posted here and there, as I get the urge for beading. I have been doing a lot of studies with Printmaking, so you will be seeing more of that from me also. I feel as though I need to be more focused in my artwork and the things that are important to me. I hope you like what you see!
